Our Worldwide Actions

Sénégal

In 2000, Prométhée Humanitaire began a new project in Dakar, the capital of Senegal with a population of 1.056 million. Today our center there is home to 30 children. Our work in the field aims to meet young people in their daily environment: bus stations, markets, recreation areas, clubs, and other living spaces. With these meetings we try to establish/re-establish links between children, adolescents, and adults, and to be present and available. This constitutes the basis of our educative action and above all brings them the esteem and love that they have missed, and which remains the most important aspect on their road to blossoming as citizens and people. Learn More…

Haïti

We have been active in Haiti since 2005. Our mission is located in Jacmel, a city of 170,000 people which was particularly affected by the earthquake of January 2010. There, we house 13 children and support 10 others. We protect and ensure the education of all our children until they reach adulthood. And, as best as we can, we offer them a plan for their future to ensure their social reintegration. Learn More…

We have been working in Mahajanga since 2006, and there we house 21 children and support 10 others. We work to protect and educate them, ensure their opportunity to participate in sports, cultivate their creativity, and grow their curiosity. Learn More…
